about VICTORIA TRINIES

Victoria is a research and administrative assistant at Transforming Business.

She served as a Peace Corps volunteer (‘06-’07) in Guinea, West Africa, where she developed pre- and postnatal maternal and child health education services at a regional health clinic, established a health education group at a secondary school, and worked to secure clean water sources for her village.

Before joining the Peace Corps, she provided research support for species protection with Defenders of Wildlife in California’s central valley. She helped the Friends Committee on Legislation on environmental and criminal justice lobbying efforts. She hit the streets as a canvasser with Environment California, helping secure funding for their campaign to mandate increased minimum levels of renewable energies in the electricity market.

While a student at the University of California, Davis, she coordinated the Health Education Program at the Cowell Student Health Center and founded Project Peace, a community coalition of peace advocates. Victoria has a bachelor of arts in political science from UC Davis.
